Crocker Elementary School is a new 116,000-square-foot facility serving 845 students in grades 1–5. The school embraces a biophilic design approach that integrates nature into the learning environment. Multiple “biomes” are distributed across grade levels, each defined by a distinct color palette expressed through coordinated furniture fabrics and finishes. Program spaces include classrooms, dedicated STE and art rooms, and a cafetorium designed to transform seamlessly from lunch service to assemblies and school performances. Collaborative support areas foster creativity and engagement, while the library features moveable curved bookcases that shape flexible zones for reading, exploration, and group activity.
