A new general academic building adjacent to Boston Harbor supporting multiple departments including Art, Performing Arts and Chemistry. MoharDesign developed a textural color palette that is light and restrained, allowing the impact of the building’s copper elements and white cut rift oak to stand out. The furniture and equipment were specialized for each department. Full-sized mock-ups of offices and all other furniture were tested by end-users and purchased via Massachusetts state contracts.
