The new building houses Chemistry an Marine Sciences and includes a curved lecture hall clad in terra cotta along with classrooms, research labs, offices & conference rooms, a library and multiple break areas. MoharDesign provided interior design and FF&E services. The design includes porcelain tile in a pattern that both defines column grid and plays off of walls like cast shadows. The furniture was procured via North Carolina State contracts.
